Features 1.2GHz Intel Core Duo processor and 802.11AGN Wi-Fi connectivity
Xplore Technologies, a maker of rugged mobile computers, has launched a new Tablet PC specifically designed for use in clean rooms.
The company said that the Clean Room iX104C4 design implements indoor/outdoor AllVue Xtreme display technology, a flexible user interface with dual mode functionality, redesigned antennae, integrated wireless modules, Windows 7 compliance and improved overall performance.
According to Xplore Technologies, the iX104C4’s features include, specially designed chassis and sealing to prevent manufacturing contamination; rugged design light enough to carry or keep mounting arms or carts in balance; and 1.2GHz Intel Core Duo processor to facilitate real time applications.
In addition, the new tablet PC features 802.11AGN Wi-Fi for wireless connectivity to host systems; and compatibility to Xplore peripherals such as docking stations and mounting equipment.
