Samsung updates Android-4.1 for Wi-Fi versions of Galaxy models

Adds Premium Suite, S Pen support while allowing the user to open and resize multiple apps

Samsung Electronics has released the updates of Android 4.1, Jelly Bean for Wi-Fi versions of Galaxy Note10.1 and Galaxy Tab 2 devices.

The update adds Premium Suite, S Pen support while allowing the user to open and resize multiple apps with the screen layered view.

Samsung Electronics America consumer IT product marketing senior vice president Mike Abary said that Samsung's Galaxy Note 10.1 created a new category by delivering content creation capabilities in addition to content consumption.

"By providing not just Jelly Bean, but dramatic improvements to the multitasking and S Pen features on the devices, we're ensuring that the Galaxy Note 10.1 remains at the forefront of innovation," Abary said.

Features of the phones include cascade view, air view, quick command, easy clip, photo note, paper artist and S Pen that enables user to select, write, color and unlock the home-screen by taking it out.
