PortaOne releases new PortaClient app for iPhone

PortaSwitch Callback Engine to allows users to check account balance, change settings and initiate calls

Global communications infrastructure company PortaOne has released a new PortaClient app for the Apple iPhone, which uses PortaSwitch platform.

The company claims that the new app allows iPhone end-users access their usage data, check balances, manage their service settings, and initiate low-cost VoIP calls using the PortaSwitch callback engine. Its PortaSwitch platform is capable of handling the complete call control and converged VoIP billing functions of a digital services company.

According to Global communications, the PortaClient iPhone app offers customer information (balance, status and payment status); account information (contact, status, balance and validity); call processing; call list; and VoIP calling via PortaSwitch's callback feature.
