Motorola Mobility introduces Gleam+

The flip phone at a suggested price of €99 will be available in silver and winter white colours

Motorola Mobility has introduced Motorola GLEAM+, a new version of last year's Motorola Gleam flip phone.

Motorola GLEAM+ is 0.4mm thinner than its predecessor and measures 107 x 52.5 x 13.5mm.

It has a WQVGA TFT display that measures 2.8 inch, with a resolution of 400 x 240 pixels.

Motorola Mobility Germany marketing director Claudia Laepke said the Motorola GLEAM+ is as a stylish and easy to use as ever for the consumer who enjoys the simple things in life, without compromising on design and functionality.

"We designed this handset with a clear focus on delivering a great experience in a simple, sleek and stylish design," Laepke added.

Designed at a weight of 105g, Motorola GLEAM + features GSM 900/1800(WE) GPRS class 12 network, 2MP camera with fixed focus, digital zoom, MP3 playback, FM radio W/RDS, among others.

This new Motorola offering has 50MB of internal storage space which can be expanded to 16GB through the microSD card slot.

There is also SD card support, a full HTML Browser, email client, Bluetooth,USB connectivity and a LED matrix display that will provide expressive notifications and alerts.

At a suggested price of €99, the new phone will be available in silver and in winter white colour schemes in March this year.

Motorola GLEAM+ will be offered with Telekom and in retail shops among others.
